Reparo ("we", "our", "the service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data.

Information We Collect

  • Account information you provide when signing up: email address and display name.
  • Files you upload: mechanic invoice PDFs and photos. These are stored privately and are accessible only to your account.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and error events, collected to improve the product. This data is never sold.

How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the service: your uploaded files are processed by AI to extract structured repair data. This processing happens on secure servers.
  • To improve the product: aggregated, anonymised usage patterns help us identify bugs and prioritise features.
  • We do not use your invoice files or extracted data to train AI models. Your repair history is yours.

Data Storage & Security

  • Your files are stored in a private, encrypted storage bucket. No file is publicly accessible.
  • Database records are stored with row-level security: your data is isolated from other users at the database level.
  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Data Retention

  • Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • You can export your data at any time from the Export page before deletion.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: database and file storage provider.
  • Google Cloud Vision: used to extract text from uploaded invoice images.
  • Anthropic: AI model used to structure extracted invoice text into searchable records.
  • Stripe: payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Reparo never stores card details.
  • Upstash: rate limiting to protect the service from abuse.

Your Rights

  • Access: you can view all data Reparo holds about you from within the app.
  • Export: download your complete repair history as Excel or CSV at any time.
  • Correction: edit any extracted field directly from the invoice review screen.
  • Deletion: delete individual invoices or your entire account from Settings.

Cookies

  • Reparo uses session cookies to keep you signed in. These are httpOnly cookies and cannot be read by client-side scripts.
  • We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Changes to This Policy

  • If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date below.
